Upon entrance to the outdoor space of villa Annaset, a genuine welcoming feeling is offered. From the stone tiles to the dainty house exterior, relax in a warm, earthy holiday home. An open-plan interior with a fireplace and indoor plants is equally appealing, due to the fastidious decoration providing a natural hospitable look. About the Villa

A bright living space with pastel shades, a sloping ceiling and a spiral stairway leading to a charming attic create a home away from home. Unwind in the restful living room and cook your favourite dishes in the cosy kitchen. Equipped with bar tabletops, facing a large window with a countrified view, each meal is a perfect reminder of the Mediterranean surrounding. Two comfortable bedrooms and two spacious bathrooms provide utter convenience and a stunning lounge outside with a barbecue and a jacuzzi complete the wonderful villa Annaset experience.

Spend your summer holidays soaking up that vitamin D under the Ionian sun on a lounger in the green garden or get some shade on the extremely hot days while sitting in the outdoor living room. A modern wood-wrapped jacuzzi complements the rustic scenery and spices up your stay. Make sure to use the brick barbecue for meals out in the fresh air with the view of the sea in the distance.

If you’re seeking a remote summer dwelling not very far from where all the fun is taking place, then villa Annaset is the perfect home for you. Agios Sostis combines a mountain view on one side and a vast seafront on the other. A flowery village plentiful in natural landscapes is a sublime environment for taking long walks, bathing in a quiet beach, or plain dreaming away in the comfort of your villa.

Beaches:

The closest beach of Agios Sostis is only 600m away, allowing daily visits to the much-awaited beach of the Ionian. Boat rides and excursions to the island of Marathonisi are available if you’re in need of a break from swimming or sunbathing. A little further, fun-packed Laganas abounds in uninterrupted sandy shores and activities for all moods and ages. A longer car ride will take you to the quiet Limni Keri beach or the famous Kalamaki and Tsilivi. Most beaches offer sun loungers, umbrellas and refreshing ice-cold drinks at the beach bar.

Local Markets:

A small supermarket can be found in Agios Sostis with basic necessities, gifts and conveniences. However, head over to Laganas for a larger variety of products, like groceries, amenities and beach items.

Bars & Restaurants

Seafood, Greek cuisine and international restaurants in Agios Sostis will satisfy your palate in tranquil settings with blooming flowers. Dining out will be a breeze, especially if you count the options in Laganas as well, where the restaurants are aplenty and the bars, facing the beach or further into the village, promise a bustling nightlife.

Family fun

The beach in Agios Sostis is perfect for children, due to its calm, shallow waters. Boat rides and the small wooden bridge are loved by all families. Visit the popular water fun park in Tsilivi for adventurous water activities for all ages, or take a boat ride to Marathonisi where – if you’re lucky – you can spot a Caretta-Caretta turtle. Enjoy some mini-golf in Laganas or the Caretta fun park in Kalamaki.

Points of interest

From the Caretta-Caretta (loggerhead sea turtle) to the famous Navagio (shipwreck) beach, Zante is full of surprises and major attractions. The latter, approachable by sea, consists of a breathtaking cove with an abandoned ship right on the shore and the beach offers a spectacular view from the top. Zakynthos town, of Venetian aesthetic due to the former ruler of the island, is a must-visit during your stay, with the beautiful Bochali castle and the impressive Solomos square.
