Surrounding the alluring pool, you’ll find a spacious garden and lawn area, with olive trees dotted amongst them, providing some delightful shady spots. Wooden sunbeds are furnished with comfortable mattresses - the perfect spot to relax under the Zakynthian sun. With a large BBQ and a lovely pool terrace, this villa is the perfect place to enjoy dining al fresco.
The villa has gated parking with space for 2 cars. You’ll find the main entrance at the side of the villa.
The open plan living space and kitchen is contemporary and stylish, with a modern comfortable corner sofa and a large flat screen TV. The elegant kitchen is well equipped and has a large dining table and chairs. Patio doors lead from the living space out to the covered pool terrace, furnished with a lovely table and cushioned benches - it’s a great place for a family meal.
Villa Amelina has 4 beautiful bedrooms, including a stunning double bedroom. On the first floor are 2 twin rooms and 1 double room. All come complete with en suite shower rooms and large fitted wardrobes. There is 1 twin room with a balcony overlooking the pool, whilst the other twin and the double have doors opening on to a shared balcony at the rear of the villa.
The second double bedroom is located on the ground floor and features a luxurious 4 poster bed, an en suite shower room, a separate seating area and a wooden dressing table, which divides the room. Natural light floods the room through the 2 large patio doors, which open on to the ground floor terrace. There is a wall mounted TV which can be moved to face either the bed or the seating area.
An additional shared shower room can also be found on the ground floor. The washing machine is also located here.

Agios Sostis holds a couple of mini markets and there are 2 large supermarkets on the way to Zante Town – perfect for topping up on holiday amenities. The nearest supermarket is in the neighbouring town of Laganas, 5 minutes’ drive away which, along with Kalamaki, has a wealth of souvenir shops. For a wider selection, visit Zante Town where there is a wide variety of shops providing something for everyone. Further afield, 50 minutes’ drive away, explore the craft village of Volimes selling local crafts, souvenirs and wonderful herbs and honey all produced locally in Zante.
Just a 10 minute walk from the villa is a taverna, popular with locals and tourists alike and serving tasty traditional Greek cuisine. Alternatively, take advantage of the great selection of seafront restaurants and bars within Agios Sostis or relax in one of the traditional tavernas with a glass of wine overlooking the Limni Keri harbour, 10 minutes’ drive from Amelina Villa. Or, perhaps you would rather spend the evening in Limni Keri, with a choice of traditional tavernas. Laganas hosts livelier bars for those looking to dance the night away.
Agios Sostis has its own beach with crystal clear shallow waters. Here you can hire a boat and travel over to the island of Marathonissi, better known as Turtle Island due to the turtle nesting ground on the beach. Or why not arrange an organized boat trip to the famous Keri Caves, with various swimming stops along the way letting you dive into the clear blue Ionian Sea. For a long sandy beach head to the nearby bay of Kalamaki and Laganas where 2 miles of golden sand awaits. Head south east to the Vasilikos Peninsular is dotted with some of the most picturesque sandy beaches on the island with beautiful scenery and pine forests.
Nearby Limni Keri offers boat trips and motor boat hire as well as a scuba diving school allowing you to explore the natural side of the island. Kalamaki has an excellent mini golf course and Go Karts, open from early afternoon until late night – fun for all the family. For more excitement, the ‘Water Village’ park in Sarakinado is under 30 minutes’ drive away and has adrenaline fuelled slides as well as a more relaxing lazy river providing entertainment for all ages. Children can explore the jungle-themed play area with slides, water shoots and water jets, plus the ‘Mermaid Pool’ with fountains and water sprays.
Zante is famous for the picturesque Shipwreck Bay, an hours’ drive away. Explore the mountains by car, stopping off at the viewpoint overlooking the shipwreck for some fantastic photos, or drive to Porto Vromi and take a boat into the bay itself to see the shipwreck up close. Bocchali, on the hill overlooking Zante Town is a beautiful place to visit. Sit in one of the cafes with a cool drink or ice-cream whilst enjoying the view over the town and across to the Greek Mainland. Wander up to the ruins of the Venetian Castle and in the evening enjoy a cocktail while watching the lights of the town twinkle below.
Zakynthos is known for the Shipwreck Bay, an hour away by car. Take the time to ride around the mountains by car. Make a stop at the point of view of the shipwreck to admire it from an interesting angle and take wonderful photos. Instead, you can drive to Porto Vromi to see it up close by boat. On the hill that dominates above the capital is Bohali, which is worth visiting and sitting for coffee, refreshments or ice-cream while enjoying the view of the city of Zakynthos. Wander around the ruins of the Venetian Castle, and in the evening enjoy a cocktail watching the city lights flicker at your feet.
