The pool is set into a spacious stone terrace that spans the length of the villa and has an elevated countryside position. Sit back and relax on one of the sunbeds and take in the stunning, panoramic views over the mountains and down to the Bay of Keri. Make use of that brick BBQ and indulge in a holiday feast under the cover of the pergola, where you'll find your outdoor dining table

Entrance

The approach to Villa Bougainvillea is via a steep driveway with space for 1 hire car. There's no room to manoeuvre a car here so you'll need to reverse back down. Alternatively, park at the bottom of the driveway and make your way up the slope. From the parking area, 5 steps up take you to the pool terrace and the villa's front entrance.

Living space and kitchen

The open plan living space retains a traditional charm with stone walls and a feature fireplace, yet also has tasteful, contemporary touches. Comfortable chairs surround a dining table and a sofa and armchair provide an ideal place to relax. On one side of the living room, patio doors open out to the terrace BBQ area. The compact, modern kitchen is at one end of the living space and is equipped for simple, holiday meals. Please note that there is no dishwasher.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

Upstairs you'll find 2 bright and generous double bedrooms, both tastefully decorated and complete with en suite shower rooms. Each has large, patio doors that open on to the shared first floor balcony, where you can admire the incredible views of the lush, green landscape, the sparkling sea and Marathonisi Island beyond. Downstairs, the twin bedroom is bright and comfortable with plenty of storage. There is also a separate shower room on this level, beautifully decorated with striking tiles.

Additional rooms

A separate stone building located poolside houses the washing machine and can also be used for storage if desired.

Enjoying an elevated position in the Zante countryside, Villa Bougainvillea is located just a few minutes' drive from Keri Harbour. With a pebble beach, vibrant harbourside tavernas and restaurants, take advantage of all this picturesque bay has to offer. Those who are feeling active may prefer a leisurely 10 minute downhill walk to the harbour through the olive groves. The popular resort of Kalamaki is nearby, and the sprawling Zante town is just a little further afield, making this villa an ideal spot from which to explore.
